Level 2 Teaching Assistant Course

Within this qualification, learners will be introduced to the knowledge they need to work in various learning environments. Our resources will help you gain a better understanding of the variety of roles you could be playing, from administration to site support. Throughout the course, learners will improve their knowledge of how to effectively communicate with and develop professional relationships with children, young people, and adults. You will also look at identifying the stages of development in children and young people and how you can be a positive influence on them. Learners will also gain insight into health and safety legislation, the importance of safeguarding and child welfare, and equality, diversity, and inclusion in work with children and young people.

This Level 2 Award is a knowledge-based course, so classroom experience isn’t necessary to complete the qualification. Assessments are integrated into the programme, so there’s no need to worry about the stress of a final exam. On completion of this course, you will receive the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools and Colleges.
