This qualification is an excellent introduction for new practitioners considering working with young children. This qualification has been created to give learners a basic understanding of childcare and education, helping them to make an informed choice about working with children and young people. Meeting UK national standards, our resources will help you better understand the variety of roles you could play as an early-year’s practitioner, from planning activities to supervising young children.
About the course
Over the duration of this course, learners will improve their knowledge of how to communicate with and develop relationships with children effectively. You will also look at planning activities and correctly identifying any health and safety concerns. Learners will also gain insight into the importance of play for children’s development and sharing learning experiences within the local community.This Level 2 Certificate is a knowledge-based course, so classroom experience isn’t necessary to complete the qualification. Assessments are integrated into the programme, so there’s no need to worry about the stress of a final exam. On completion of this course, you will receive the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate Introducing Caring for Children and Young People.
